Acro in Geneva

César and Daniela Salvadori were delighted to discover ACRO, thanks to Ernest Furblur at the 1988 World Championships in Antwerp (Belgium) and the support of Konrad and Gizela Zielinski (Polish FIG experts). In 1993, they created the Geneva Association of Sports Acrobatics (AGSA) to promote several disciplines: Acrosport, Tumbling and Trampoline.

AGSA turned into the Geneva Association of Acrobatic Gymnastics (AGGA) in 2001, integrating various clubs and then, in 2017, joining the Geneva Gymnastics Association (AGG).  Thereupon, the AGG created an Acrobatic Gymnastics Commission (the GAC) under the auspices of its elite sports section, which, to date,  entails 4 clubs.

Since September 2018, Geneva's top gymnasts can belong to the Geneva Acrobatic Gymnastics Academy (AGAG), the cantonal gymnastic center of the AGG, directed by Ornella Salvadori.
